I grew up in Caracas, Venezuela and moved to the United States to attend college. About a year after I graduated, I moved to sunny south Florida, where I met my husband, Harry.
We are the proud parents of two wonderful kids. Our youngest, Simon, loves to play the drums and to cook with me. And Ariela, who loves the beach, photography and most importantly, chocolate, just like me! Most of the pictures you see in my blog are actually hers.
I’m not into shoes or fancy purses, I’m all about family and spending time together. I not only love to travel, but I enjoy the months before our trips when I’m doing all the planning, researching all the things to do, and looking for the best restaurants in each stop. I’m a foodie, so knowing where to eat a good meal is always important.
Writing a travel blog was on my mind for a while. We have done so many special trips and I’m always asked by family and friends to share the itineraries, so I figured why shouldn’t I share it with everyone else and inspire other families to travel more.
I love animals, so a lot of our trips revolved around seeing wildlife, or something fun outdoors, like rock climbing, zip lining, skiing, etc.. but I always try to mix and match with city trips and historic places.
